Art 458 Graphic Design for Branding and Identity Mockup branding for Kiln, a concept café designed to function as a coffee shop, gallery, and community gathering space. The identity is rooted in the material language of ceramics, reflecting the transformation of raw clay through warm tones, tactile textures, and clean, contemporary typography. In this concept, all drinkware and dishware are created in collaboration with local ceramicists, making the handcrafted object central to the customer experience. Applications include menus, packaging, and in-store touchpoints that position Kiln as a hub for craft, culture, and connection.

I then create a moodboard, brand kit and logo. For this particular project, I designed a unique typeface inspired by the ceramic brand elements.
The first step of my process is typically pen to paper. By tangibly exploring typefaces, logos, and other design treatments, I find I am able to really get a feel for the direction I want to take things.
